Idea On How You Can Help Out Your Community By Donating Teddy Bears To Police Stations

If you want to do something for your community, but don't have much time and want to do something simple and easy ~ I have the best thing for you!  I know some police stations will take donations of teddy bears for the children that are in need of comfort.

When a police officer goes to a bad situation with a child involved they will give that child a teddy bear to help them feel comforted.  Some officers that their police departments receive teddy bears as donations will always have a teddy bear in their police vehicle ready for a child.  I think it's an amazing thing they do!  It makes a big difference to the child in that situation.

If you can only donate one teddy bear I know they would appreciate it.  If you wanted to have your neighborhood or school donate teddy bears then you take them to the police station ~ that would be awesome!  Any way you wanted to would be amazing and helpful to your community!

Rachel's Teddy Bears

Rachel's Teddy Bears is something I've been wanting to create for a couple of years now.  I know that some police stations get donated teddy bears and stuffed animals so they can give the teddy bear to a child in a traumatic situation.  Like if the child is in a negative situation or in a car accident.  The teddy bear is for the child to feel comforted.  I love this idea!  Teddy bears really can comfort a child in a hard time.

I want to be able to get donations to purchase new teddy bears, so that I can give them to police stations.  I want to give plenty to my local police station, then branch out from there.  I hope I can help a lot of police stations!  Also that one day every police officer will have a teddy bear in their cop car ready for a child needing comfort.

I'm so grateful for amazing police officers and for everything that they do!  I want to help out by donating as many teddy bears as I can, so they can comfort children in need.
